Most people who post here are sensible enough to know what is and isn't acceptable and, of course, banter and ribbing is a part of our little group.   However, for the purposes of clarity the following are examples of posts that would, really, not be acceptable, and could be subject to some form of moderation. Generally the action of deleting or editing posts will be avoided unless considered absolutely necessary.

Posts that may be subjected to alteration or deletion

Post that contain pornographic, vulgar or obviously offensive material.

Defamatory, hateful, potentially libellous posts.

Posts which seek to discriminate on the grounds of sex, race, ethnicity or religion. (Some latitude will be given to posts of a clearly humurous nature in some circumstances)

Members are of course allowed to disagree or debate with each other but we ask that they avoid personally abusing or insulting other members in their posts.

Any post considered to be inflammatory, rude, offensive and intended to annoy and antagonize or disrupt the general flow of discussion.

Other considerations

Members are asked not to copy content directly from other websites in their posts without proper accreditation being given to the source.

Chezger operates a policy of not allowing duplicate accounts to be created. Steps will be taken to immediately close down any such accounts which are discovered.

PMs are what they say on the tin "Private" and should not be posted on the public boards, if they are, they will be deleted.

Moderators do not intend to be involved in PM disputes.

All complaints will be treated seriously and will be responded to as quickly as possible.  Sometimes if it is felt that a complaint is not merited then there will be no action taken, but this does not mean that it was ignored.  Ultimately, our aim is the same as yours - to make Chezger a forum which members old and new will choose to be a part of.

Above all let's make this forum a fun place to visit and let off steam if neccessary and have lively debates, but common sense should prevail and all of the above should be taken into account before you press the "POST" button.
